Saturday, October 25 was F.L.O.G.’s Fifth Annual Trick or Beat Halloween party. What a great night it was - nearly 125 people joined in the fun - with absolutely incredible, original costumes, wonderful food, lots of door prizes and great dungeon play. The grand prize of the evening went to the Satyr costume - words are difficult to describe this costume, but it was just fantastic - those that know Joe would not/did not recognize that it was him under the foam and fur and hoofs and horns. The other costumes that won special attention and prizes were a trio of “Snidely Whiplash, Dudley Do-right and Horse (who was decked out in latex, tail and hoofs)”, a man in his shower, “light-up girl” and Lucy (complete with 50’s dress and red curls). There were lots of other wonderful costumes as well, a Samurai and geisha, fallen angels, the Devil, several schoolgirls, and fairies. And there were lots of door prizes for attendance. Local vendors and Midori donated items to give as door prizes. The list is too long to list them all, but there was everything from autographed books to floggers to gift certificates and paddles. Our thanks go out to all the vendors who were very generous to the group again this year. In addition to the costumes, the dungeon was open and active all night long, with some really interesting scenes going on during the night - it was a good night of fun and play.

F.L.O.G.'s monthly social was Saturday, November 22. It was the second time the group held a food drive for area food pantries and was again a good success with over 8 bags/boxes of food collected and $125.00 collected which was donated to the National Coalition of Sexual Freedom. It was a quiet night with only 75 people attending, but those that were there (including approximately 20 new people) enjoyed the time to socialize with each other...there was a lot of laughter all night long. As this was the last event of the year, people seemed to want to get in one last scene before the holidays, so in addition to the socializing, there was a lot of play with the equipment being used all night long. There was a really intense scene with a hogtied sub getting a hard hand spanking as well as several good flogging scenes. There was a fun scene with two SAM's tied to the frame with lots of giggling in between the spanking they were receiving. A good way to end the night.
