July's Summer Sizzler was just that - a sizzler. The July Social/Play Party, held July 28th had more than 85 people attend. It was a lot of fun to met new people and to watch the different scenes, including the opening scene by Master Cliff and Jane.

In addition to all the new people we were honored with a traveling display from The Leather Archives from Chicago. This is a traveling "history" of the lifestyle and its various components. Every one had a chance to meet Jon who brought the exhibit down and who offered the enlightening display and discussion regarding the exhibit. It was a pleasure to meet him and to see the display. Now we have one more thing to do when we visit Chicago.

August marked the return of Master Gary and the Newcomers HOTS night - this "class" covers the basics of BDSM, is informative and a good way to ask questions and to have some hands-on experience without feeling like a spotlight is on you. Approximately 12 people attended and those who did seemed to enjoy themselves.

The regular social opened at 8 p.m. to another record night for attendance. This night also marked the unveiling of the group's latest piece of equipment - a true suspension frame. A creation of the wonderful twisted minds of our DM's, the frame is strong enough to suspend an individual completely, wide enough to suspend three subbies, and versatile in its many uses. It is a wonderful addition to the rest of the group's equipment and was used all night long. We look forward to finding creative ways to use it.

The social/party was held September 22, 2001. Since it marked the end of summer, we celebrated with a "Back to School" night and were very happy to see all the "school girls" in their plaid skirts, pig-tails and Maryjanes. It was just fun and the better than 100 people who attended seemed to enjoy themselves. We got to meet some new people and to see some returning friends.

We again had full floor of scenes and watched an elaborate scene orchestrated by our DM involvling the new frame, a "pony", a suspended sub, water, a "zipper" involving a lot of clothes pins connected to another sub and a lot of tension. If you missed it, you missed a spectacular scene.

The rumored revolt of the school girls didn't materialize but the evening was a success nonetheless.
