In order to help those that are new to the scene, or have never been to a public play party, here are some rules of etiquette to keep in mind.

  1. Always ask before you touch. Not only does this mean a person, but possessions as well. Never use a tool, instrument, or toy without asking the owner first.
  2. Refrain from loud talking during a scene. If you wish to carry on a conversation, please exit the play area or talk in whispers. Disruptions during a scene are very much frowned upon.
  3. Never interrupt or interfere with a scene, unless it appears that one of the participants is in danger. If you are concerned, notify the host or a designated Event Monitor immediately.
  4. If you have a question about a particular scene, please ask after the scene is over.
  5. If you move a piece of furniture to accommodate your scene, please put it back in its original position for the next person.
  6. Be cognizant of the time that you've been using a play station. Others wish to play as well.
  7. Wipe off any equipment used with bio-cleaner after your scene. Pick up any trash that you might have accumulated such as leftover wax.
  8. Remember to be gracious and courteous with everyone that you meet. Common respect for each other is always encouraged.
  9. Never leave with more than you came with.
  10. Be conscious of the time when the party will be ending.
  11. If at a private party, never bring along another person without them having an invitation or asking prior permission from the host.
